The cut of beef taken from the smaller end of the tenderloin, the Filet is usually presented as a round cut taken from the thinner end of the tenderloin. Filet Mignon offers a milder flavor profile while remaining tender and lean. Filet will often be accompanied with a sauce or served wrapped with bacon.
